Sir, I have inherited my fathers Eumig P8 projector. The rubber belt at the rear of the proj. in side has perrished.
Is this the drive belt ? Are they still available to buy, so I may replace it and view the few films that my father has left.
Do I need a code No. and where would be the best place to locate one ?
Many thanks.
I’m assuming your in the UK from your e-mail address if not let me know and I can give you some local sources.
For Eumig P8 belts in the UK the best place will probably be eBay. You could also try mikebelts@yahoo.co.uk who I believe will be able to help too.
When changing the belt be careful. The drive shaft on Eumig P8 projectors is live! Never replace the belt with a belt made from conductive material and never replace the belt while the projector plugged in.
Thank you very much for your reply to my request for information on my Eumig P8 projector on the 3rd. I live in Warwickshire, I am assuming that the drive belt is the only belt on the projector. Thanks also for the safety warning re – drive shaft being live. I will try mikebelts@yahoo.co.uk before tackling ebay. Thanks again,
best wishes, A.E.
